笔者首先在著名医学期刊THE LANCET(柳叶刀)杂志上检索到一篇关于手机健康风险流行病学证据的文章,题名为Epidemiological evidence on health risks of cellular telephones,发表于2000年11月(年代略有些久远),该文就截至当时的相关研究做了一些总结。从那时起,流行病学专家们开始探寻手机使用与肿瘤发病率之间的关系,在那之前有关射频电磁波与肿瘤发病关系的研究均来源于非手机暴露,如从事电磁辐射相关的工作人员或是业余无线电爱好者。基于上述对象的7项研究结果中,一项研究发现淋巴和血液系统肿瘤发病率略有增高,一项显示脑部肿瘤和血液淋巴系统肿瘤发病略有增高,但总体肿瘤死亡率没有变化;一项研究发现脑部肿瘤发病率和总体死亡率“翻倍”;一项研究发现暴露于非电离电磁场的风险略微增加;其余研究均未发现有任何额外肿瘤发病率升高的迹象。柳叶刀文章认为这些研究样本存在某些偏倚,且几乎均为回顾性研究,结论意义有限。随后该文章提到了一项针对近20万摩托罗拉公司雇员历时20年的大型随访,结果称“未发现任何肿瘤死亡率升高的迹象”[1]。
